PETROL EXHIBITION : THE HISTORY OF FILLING STATIONS

On the occasion of the celebrations for the 10th edition, OMC organizers are proud to welcome PETROL Exhibitions International (www.PetrolExI.com) , the biggest mobile exhibition on the filling station them.

On exhibit for all OMC attendees: originals and replicas of equipment from the petroleum industry, such as petrol pumps, as well as merchandising, posters, decorations going right back to the beginning of the twentieth century, from different periods of time and various countries.

The exhibit will be open on 23rd, 24th, and 25th March according to exhibition opening times in Hall 4, stand C32.

Exploring the 'real' limits of elastomer sealing solutions in harsh offshore applications: what all engineers should know!

Elastomer sealing is at the forefront of many of the exploration and production challenges facing the offshore industry. Drilling, reservoir sampling and enhanced oil recovery are just some of the areas where seals are exposed to aggressive gases and liquids at high temperatures and pressures. Yet many companies rely on often out-dated sealing knowledge that limits their ability to respond effectively to these offshore engineering challenges. These four sessions are designed to show OEMs, offshore engineers and operators how the development of elastomers, specifically for oil and gas environments, is improving offshore sealing performance and service life. The sessions will cover: advances in elastomer technology, material selection for high H2S/CO2 content, improved sealing performance through optimised seal design, the interpretation of laboratory-based data, and the relevance of standard rapid gas decompression test protocols for offshore applications.
