OMC Med Energy Conference is launching the first Energy Hackathon OMC 2030 to take place on Wednesday 29th September in Ravenna under OMC 2021 Roof.
The initiative is organised in alliance with SPE Italian Section and with the support of Accenture, as Technical sponsor.
We are looking for fresh ideas and solutions to achieve the 2030 SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals on the UN agenda.
We are searching astonishingly agile brains to give the energy industry new inspiration on how to view things in a different way. Creativity, Innovation and Collaboration will be the most crucial ingredients of OMC 2030 Energy Hackathon.
Teams will be invited to conceptualise and focus their attention on goal 7 Affordable and Clean Energy of the UN SDGs.
Based on the data provided and presented by OMC facilitators teams are called and stimulated to develop a strategy, bounce ideas off each other, share information and skills and think about possible solutions with a diverse set of inputs.
Participation in the Hackathon is free but subject to registration. There are no specific requirements unless age which must be between 20 and 30. Therefore applicants must provide ID card when submitting the registration form.
Due to stringent Covid-19 measures the Organisers reserve to make a selection in order to grant a safe event.
The selection will be based only on university/institute and geographical provenance in order to be as much inclusive as possible while preserving diversity of representation.
