INNOVATION ROOM
OMC is particularly keen to attract and get young generations involved in the energy transition path. To this purpose the arena called Innovation room will engage universities, start-ups, companies and investors in presentations and contests to exploit the potential of fresh ideas and turn them into new projects and solutions for the energy industry.
DAY 1 | Starting Up Ravenna
INNOVUP - Italian Innovation & Startup Ecosystem represents the national sector of startups, scaleups, innovation centers, science and technology parks. The association's goal is to bring together and strengthen the Italian innovative entrepreneurship network. In association with OMC organizers, InnovUp will introduce the best realities and projects of the Italian startup landscape through oral presentations.

DAY 2 | Energy Hackathon 2030
The Energy Hackathon acts as a powerful crowd-sourcing platform that generates a breadth of potential solutions to the environmental and energy challenges that companies face. This initiative is a helpful platform for students to learn and understand real-world challenges, generate ideas, find startup partners.
The contest is open to youth aged 20-30 years.
The winning team will receive prizes and recognition from the Energy Hackathon’s sponsors.

DAY 3 | Call for Ideas – Mediterranean Region
OMC organizers together with FEEM - Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, are launching a “call for ideas” to select the best projects to develop the energy transition path and solve the industry’s big challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean region. This call is open to universities and academia, national and international research centers or technology institutions within the Mediterranean Region.
